Rules for The Course
Full Participation
Students are expected to be attentive and engaged. Your participation will drive your success and the return on your investment.
If you are interested in preparing for an exam, it is paramount that you are engaged at all times.
Transparency
Students are required to have their webcam and microphone turned on at all times for the duration of the course. This helps us to ensure the integrity of our courses. If you are not able to comply with this rule, we will not be able to allow you to stay connected to the course.
Course Attendance
Students are required to be present for the entire duration of the course. Logging-out early will result in no certificate of completion and the many other benefits of completing the course.
Time-Boxes
Students are required to respect the time-boxes of the course regarding start time, end time, breaks and lunches. Should any student become a distraction they will be disconnected from the course.
Prep Work
Students are strongly encouraged to complete any prep work recommended in the registration confirmation e-mail. This will typically consist of pre-assessments, suggested reading, and technical requirements.
Respect for Others
In our course we will cover many tough topics and challenge many traditional means of delivering products. For this reason, we ask that each student exhibits the Scrum Values when interacting with other students as well as the instructor.
Multiple Students on One Connection
Each student must be individually logged into their own machine or device with their own individual webcam and microphone.
Broadcasting of the course to a conference room or to a group of people is not allowed.
Scrum Values
The rules listed on this page are all individually useful to the success of the course. However, they are all rooted in the Scrum Values mentioned in the Scrum Guide.
Each student is required to participate in the course in accordance with the Scrum Values.
